This is a long overdue podcast in honor of a ride my sister did for a friend, Mel, with Waldenstrom’s Macroglobuliemia. She rode 100 miles for the Livestrong challenge. Her team raised $3,000 in support of cancer research. The Run Podcast helped with %6 of that total amount. Mel is, himself, a long distance runner!

Freedom found I over the last couple of months. As promised here is the interview with Marco and Stephanie about their first-time marathon experience both on the course and as race support. I’ve got a few shows in the pipeline over the next couple weeks to catch up with the events over the last two months. Happy Holidays!
I’m a huge fan of Talking Heads and David Byrne. So I was really psyched when I found out that Luaka Bop (David Byrne’s Record Label) is podcaster friendly. Check out his label if you get a chance!

If you haven’t had a chance already, then be sure to check out Jack Wake’s Up and Jack Palm’s This is Life at Sethharwood.net.This show is about our completion of the St. George Marathon in Utah on October 6, 2007. Thank you to Michelle West and Tony for their contribution to the show. You both added an element that I wouldn’t have had without your voices.A big shout out to the “Dream Team:” Jen, Pete, Kip, Hobbit, Jeff, Stephanie, Tammy and Paul.

Music graciously provided by Instiga. The track is Ola off of their 2007 album Menino Canta Menina! I talk a little about the events up to the St. George marathon where I got stranded in Los Angeles on the day I was suppossed to fly to Utah.
I also give some shout outs to some amazing podcasters.

The interview with Dj Steveboy of Podrunner. It runs a little long but is split into three sections. Steve and I talk about his show in the first section. Tips with Tam follows. Steve and I talk a little about podcasting. Finally, because Steve and I originally started our conversation in a restaurant . . about 16 minutes of the audio was really poor. I’ve done my best to clean it up and you’ll find it at the end of this podcast. Go to www. djsteveboy.com to check out Podrunner and Groovelectric.
