Geert Hofstede discusses cultural dimensions: power distance, masculinity, individualism, long-term orientation and uncertainty avoidance.

This is a long overdue podcast in honor of a ride my sister did for a friend, Mel, with Waldenstrom’s Macroglobuliemia. She rode 100 miles for the Livestrong challenge. Her team raised $3,000 in support of cancer research. The Run Podcast helped with %6 of that total amount. Mel is, himself, a long distance runner!

Take care everyone.

Hey everyone. Here is the last post before I leave for Vietnam. I’ll have a ton of pictures when I get back. I got the honor to interview J.C. Hutchins of the 7th Son Podcast Novel. If you haven’t checked it out yet, then you have to listen to this episode. Join us in Sherman Oaks, CA for part of JC’s Virtual Book Tour. J.C. Hutchins has done some amazing work in the podcasting community. If you like his book, then you might want to check out Scott Sigler as well. They have some crossover work material that just really enhances your listening experience. A big special thanks to Chris Miller and K. J. johnson from the Round Table podcast at The House of the Harping Monkey for that amazing promo. J.C. is gearing up to launch the final book of the trilogy on 7/7/07. If you haven’t heard it yet, then you have some time to catch up!

Part 1 of a 3 part series involving local running legend Craig Chambers. Click here to get a transcript of the story that we read. Click here to check out Phidippides - Encino. Music generously provided by Chemda. The track is entitled “Forever Lost” and can be found on her myspace page. Check her out here at chemda.com and her Myspace page. Her and her boyfriend host an amazing show called Keith and The Girl. One of my guilty pleasures; however, the show is definitely not for the young ones. They were just recently featured on the cover of Podcast User Magazine. Don’t forget to vote for Phedippidations at podcastalley.com. Also . . going back to Podcast Conversation 1, Tim Coyne has released the video for Gutenb*tch. Dan Klass makes an appearance. Check it out.

Explicit warning: Mild language and adult themes. I intereviewed Tim Coyne of the Hollywood Podcast a few weeks ago. Tim was gracious enough to let me sample bits from his show and borrow the tune he uses to open his show. Check out the Hollywood Podcast at thehollywoodpodcast.com. ** Disclaimer- I made a comment about having qualms with Paltrow saying the Brits were better. It wasn’t the fact that I believe that American’s are better.  Its the fact that we should bring presence to the things that make cultures great without placing value judgements in context. I don’t want to say any one culture or nation is better than the other. PG Tips!, all the way my friend.
